Ὦ οἱ ποιμένες οἱ διασκορπίζοντες καὶ ἀπολλύοντες τὰ πρόβατα τῆς νομῆς μου.

Malheur aux pasteurs qui détruisent et dispersent Le troupeau de mon pâturage! dit l'Éternel.

^a“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord.

διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμαίνοντας τὸν λαόν μου Ὑμεῖς διεσκορπίσατε τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐξώσατε αὐτὰ καὶ οὐκ ἐπεσκέψασθε αὐτά, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκδικῶ ἐφ' ὑμᾶς κατὰ τὰ πονηρὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν·

C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, Sur les pasteurs qui paissent mon peuple: Vous avez dispersé mes brebis, vous les avez chassées, Vous n'en avez pas pris soin; Voici, je vous châtierai à cause de la méchanceté de vos actions, Dit l'Éternel.

Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning ^bthe shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. ^cBehold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the Lord.

καὶ ἐγὼ εἰσδέξομαι τοὺς καταλοίπους τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς γῆς, οὗ ἐξῶσα αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ, καὶ καταστήσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν νομὴν αὐτῶν, καὶ αὐξηθήσονται καὶ πληθυνθήσονται·

Et je rassemblerai le reste de mes brebis De tous les pays où je les ai chassées; Je les ramènerai dans leur pâturage; Elles seront fécondes et multiplieront.

^dThen I will gather the remnant of my flock ^eout of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, ^fand they shall be fruitful and multiply.

καὶ ἀναστήσω αὐτοῖς ποιμένας, οἳ ποιμανοῦσιν αὐτούς, καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσονται ἔτι οὐδὲ πτοηθήσονται, λέγει κύριος.

J'établirai sur elles des pasteurs qui les paîtront; Elles n'auront plus de crainte, plus de terreur, Et il n'en manquera aucune, dit l'Éternel.\

^gI will set shepherds over them who will care for them, and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, declares the Lord.

Ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται, λέγει κύριος, καὶ ἀναστήσω τῷ Δαυιδ ἀνατολὴν δικαίαν, καὶ βασιλεύσει βασιλεὺς καὶ συνήσει καὶ ποιήσει κρίμα καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où je susciterai à David un germe juste; Il régnera en roi et prospérera, Il pratiquera la justice et l'équité dans le pays.

^h“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous ⁱBranch, and ^jhe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτοῦ σωθήσεται Ιουδας, καὶ Ισραηλ κατασκηνώσει πεποιθώς, καὶ τοῦτο τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ, ὃ καλέσει αὐτὸν κύριος Ιωσεδεκ.

En son temps, Juda sera sauvé, Israël aura la sécurité dans sa demeure; Et voici le nom dont on l'appellera: L'Éternel notre justice.

In his days Judah will be saved, and ^kIsrael will ^ldwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ^m‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

Διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται, λέγει κύριος, καὶ οὐκ ἐροῦσιν ἔτι Ζῇ κύριος ὃς ἀνήγαγεν τὸν οἶκον Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου,

C'est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où l'on ne dira plus: L'Éternel est vivant, Lui qui a fait monter du pays d'Égypte les enfants d'Israël!

ⁿ“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when they shall no longer say, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’

ἀλλά Ζῇ κύριος ὃς συνήγαγεν ἅπαν τὸ σπέρμα Ισραηλ ἀπὸ γῆς βορρᾶ καὶ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν χωρῶν, οὗ ἐξῶσεν αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ, καὶ ἀπεκατέστησεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν.

Mais on dira: L'Éternel est vivant, Lui qui a fait monter et qui a ramené La postérité de la maison d'Israël du pays du septentrion Et de tous les pays où je les avais chassés! Et ils habiteront dans leur pays.\

ἐν τοῖς προφήταις συνετρίβη ἡ καρδία μου, Ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐσαλεύθη πάντα τὰ ὀστᾶ μου, ἐγενήθην ὡς ἀνὴρ συντετριμμένος καὶ ὡς ἄνθρωπος συνεχόμενος ἀπὸ οἴνου ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου εὐπρεπείας δόξης αὐτοῦ.

Sur les prophètes. Mon coeur est brisé au dedans de moi, Tous mes os tremblent; Je suis comme un homme ivre, Comme un homme pris de vin, A cause de l'Éternel et à cause de ses paroles saintes.

Concerning the prophets:

^pMy heart is broken within me;
^qall my bones shake;
I am like a drunken man,
like a man overcome by wine,
because of the Lord
and because of his holy words.

ὅτι ἀπὸ προσώπου τούτων ἐπένθησεν ἡ γῆ, ἐξηράνθησαν αἱ νομαὶ τῆς ἐρήμου, καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ δρόμος αὐτῶν πονηρὸς καὶ ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτῶν οὐχ οὕτως.

Car le pays est rempli d'adultères; Le pays est en deuil à cause de la malédiction; Les plaines du désert sont desséchées. Ils courent au mal, Ils n'ont de la force que pour l'iniquité.

^sFor the land is full of adulterers;
^tbecause of the curse ^uthe land mourns,
and ^vthe pastures of the wilderness are dried up.
^wTheir course is evil,
and their might is not right.

ὅτι ἱερεὺς καὶ προφήτης ἐμολύνθησαν καὶ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου εἶδον πονηρίας αὐτῶν.

Prophètes et sacrificateurs sont corrompus; Même dans ma maison j'ai trouvé leur méchanceté, Dit l'Éternel.

^x“Both prophet and priest are ungodly;
even ^yin my house I have found their evil,

declares the Lord.

διὰ τοῦτο γενέσθω ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτῶν αὐτοῖς εἰς ὀλίσθημα ἐν γνόφῳ, καὶ ὑποσκελισθήσονται καὶ πεσοῦνται ἐν αὐτῇ· διότι ἐπάξω ἐπ' αὐτοὺς κακὰ ἐν ἐνιαυτῷ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, φησὶν κύριος.

C'est pourquoi leur chemin sera glissant et ténébreux, Ils seront poussés et ils tomberont; Car je ferai venir sur eux le malheur, L'année où je les châtierai, dit l'Éternel.

^zTherefore their way shall be to them
like slippery paths ^aain the darkness,
into which they shall be driven and fall,
for I will bring disaster upon them
^abin the year of their punishment,

declares the Lord.

καὶ ἐν τοῖς προφήταις Σαμαρείας εἶδον ἀνομήματα· ἐπροφήτευσαν διὰ τῆς Βααλ καὶ ἐπλάνησαν τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ.

Dans les prophètes de Samarie j'ai vu de l'extravagance; Ils ont prophétisé par Baal, Ils ont égaré mon peuple d'Israël.

In the prophets of ^acSamaria
^adI saw an unsavory thing:
^aethey prophesied by Baal
^afand led my people Israel astray.

καὶ ἐν τοῖς προφήταις Ιερουσαλημ ἑώρακα φρικτά, μοιχωμένους καὶ πορευομένους ἐν ψεύδεσι καὶ ἀντιλαμβανομένους χειρῶν πονηρῶν τοῦ μὴ ἀποστραφῆναι ἕκαστον ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς· ἐγενήθησάν μοι πάντες ὡς Σοδομα καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες αὐτὴν ὥσπερ Γομορρα.

Mais dans les prophètes de Jérusalem j'ai vu des choses horribles; Ils sont adultères, ils marchent dans le mensonge; Ils fortifient les mains des méchants, Afin qu'aucun ne revienne de sa méchanceté; Ils sont tous à mes yeux comme Sodome, Et les habitants de Jérusalem comme Gomorrhe.

But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
^agthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
^ahthey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
^aiall of them have become like Sodom to me,
^ajand its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”

διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ψωμιῶ αὐτοὺς ὀδύνην καὶ ποτιῶ αὐτοὺς ὕδωρ πικρόν, ὅτι ἀπὸ τῶν προφητῶν Ιερουσαλημ ἐξῆλθεν μολυσμὸς πάσῃ τῇ γῇ.

C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées sur les prophètes: Voici, je vais les nourrir d'absinthe, Et je leur ferai boire des eaux empoisonnées; Car c'est par les prophètes de Jérusalem Que l'impiété s'est répandue dans tout le pays.

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
^ak“Behold, I will feed them with bitter food
^aland give them ^ampoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

οὕτως λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ Μὴ ἀκούετε τοὺς λόγους τῶν προφητῶν, ὅτι ματαιοῦσιν ἑαυτοῖς ὅρασιν, ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν λαλοῦσιν καὶ οὐκ ἀπὸ στόματος κυρίου.

Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: N'écoutez pas les paroles des prophètes qui vous prophétisent! Ils vous entraînent à des choses de néant; Ils disent les visions de leur coeur, Et non ce qui vient de la bouche de l'Éternel.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, ^anfilling you with vain hopes. ^aoThey speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.

λέγουσιν τοῖς ἀπωθουμένοις τὸν λόγον κυρίου Εἰρήνη ἔσται ὑμῖν· καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς πορευομένοις τοῖς θελήμασιν αὐτῶν, παντὶ τῷ πορευομένῳ πλάνῃ καρδίας αὐτοῦ εἶπαν Οὐχ ἥξει ἐπὶ σὲ κακά.

Ils disent à ceux qui me méprisent: L'Éternel a dit: Vous aurez la paix; Et ils disent à tous ceux qui suivent les penchants de leur coeur: Il ne vous arrivera aucun mal.

They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord, ^ap‘It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who ^aqstubbornly follows his own heart, they say, ^ar‘No disaster shall come upon you.’”

ὅτι τίς ἔστη ἐν ὑποστήματι κυρίου καὶ εἶδεν τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ; τίς ἐνωτίσατο καὶ ἤκουσεν;

Qui donc a assisté au conseil de l'Éternel Pour voir, pour écouter sa parole? Qui a prêté l'oreille à sa parole, qui l'a entendue?

For ^aswho among them has stood in the council of the Lord
to see and to hear his word,
or who has paid attention to his word and listened?

ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ὀργὴ ἐκπορεύεται εἰς συσσεισμόν, συστρεφομένη ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀσεβεῖς ἥξει.

Voici, la tempête de l'Éternel, la fureur éclate, L'orage se précipite, Il fond sur la tête des méchants.

^auBehold, the storm of the Lord!
Wrath has gone forth,
^ava whirling tempest;
it will burst upon the head of the wicked.

καὶ οὐκέτι ἀποστρέψει ὁ θυμὸς κυρίου, ἕως ἂν ποιήσῃ αὐτὸ καὶ ἕως ἂν ἀναστήσῃ αὐτὸ ἀπὸ ἐγχειρήματος καρδίας αὐτοῦ· ἐπ' ἐσχάτου τῶν ἡμερῶν νοήσουσιν αὐτά.

La colère de l'Éternel ne se calmera pas, Jusqu'à ce qu'il ait accompli, exécuté les desseins de son coeur. Vous le comprendrez dans la suite des temps.

^awThe anger of the Lord will not turn back
until he has executed and ^axaccomplished
the intents of his heart.
^ayIn the latter days you will understand it clearly.

οὐκ ἀπέστελλον τοὺς προφήτας, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔτρεχον· οὐκ ἐλάλησα πρὸς αὐτούς, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐπροφήτευον.

Je n'ai point envoyé ces prophètes, et ils ont couru; Je ne leur ai point parlé, et ils ont prophétisé.

^az“I did not send the prophets,
yet they ran;
I did not speak to them,
yet they prophesied.

καὶ εἰ ἔστησαν ἐν τῇ ὑποστάσει μου, καὶ εἰσήκουσαν τῶν λόγων μου καὶ τὸν λαόν μου ἂν ἀπέστρεφον αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῶν πονηρῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτῶν.

S'ils avaient assisté à mon conseil, Ils auraient dû faire entendre mes paroles à mon peuple, Et les faire revenir de leur mauvaise voie, De la méchanceté de leurs actions.

^baBut if they had stood in my council,
then they would have proclaimed my words to my people,
^bband they would have turned them from their evil way,
and ^bcfrom the evil of their deeds.

θεὸς ἐγγίζων ἐγώ εἰμι, λέγει κύριος, καὶ οὐχὶ θεὸς πόρρωθεν.

Ne suis-je un Dieu que de près, dit l'Éternel, Et ne suis-je pas aussi un Dieu de loin?

^bd“Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?

εἰ κρυβήσεται ἄνθρωπος ἐν κρυφαίοις, καὶ ἐγὼ οὐκ ὄψομαι αὐτόν; μὴ οὐχὶ τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν ἐγὼ πληρῶ; λέγει κύριος.

Quelqu'un se tiendra-t-il dans un lieu caché, Sans que je le voie? dit l'Éternel. Ne remplis-je pas, moi, les cieux et la terre? dit l'Éternel.

^beCan a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. ^bfDo I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.

ἤκουσα ἃ λαλοῦσιν οἱ προφῆται, ἃ προφητεύουσιν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ψευδῆ λέγοντες Ἠνυπνιασάμην ἐνύπνιον.

J'ai entendu ce que disent les prophètes Qui prophétisent en mon nom le mensonge, disant: J'ai eu un songe! j'ai eu un songe!

I have heard what the prophets have said ^bgwho prophesy lies in my name, saying, ^bh‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’

ἕως πότε ἔσται ἐν καρδίᾳ τῶν προφητῶν τῶν προφητευόντων ψευδῆ καὶ ἐν τῷ προφητεύειν αὐτοὺς τὰ θελήματα καρδίας αὐτῶν;

Jusques à quand ces prophètes veulent-ils prophétiser le mensonge, Prophétiser la tromperie de leur coeur?

How long shall there be lies in the heart of ^bithe prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,

τῶν λογιζομένων τοῦ ἐπιλαθέσθαι τοῦ νόμου μου ἐν τοῖς ἐνυπνίοις αὐτῶν, ἃ διηγοῦντο ἕκαστος τῷ πλησίον αὐτοῦ, καθάπερ ἐπελάθοντο οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν τοῦ ὀνόματός μου ἐν τῇ Βααλ.

Ils pensent faire oublier mon nom à mon peuple Par les songes que chacun d'eux raconte à son prochain, Comme leurs pères ont oublié mon nom pour Baal.

who think to make my people forget my name ^bjby their dreams that they tell one another, even as their ^bkfathers forgot my name for Baal?

ὁ προφήτης, ἐν ᾧ τὸ ἐνύπνιόν ἐστιν, διηγησάσθω τὸ ἐνύπνιον αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐν ᾧ ὁ λόγος μου, πρὸς αὐτόν, διηγησάσθω τὸν λόγον μου ἐπ' ἀληθείας. τί τὸ ἄχυρον πρὸς τὸν σῖτον; οὕτως οἱ λόγοι μου λέγει κύριος·

Que le prophète qui a eu un songe raconte ce songe, Et que celui qui a entendu ma parole rapporte fidèlement ma parole. Pourquoi mêler la paille au froment? dit l'Éternel.

^blLet the prophet who has a dream ^bmtell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. ^bnWhat has straw in common with wheat? declares the Lord.

οὐχὶ οἱ λόγοι μου ὥσπερ πῦρ φλέγον, λέγει κύριος, καὶ ὡς πέλυξ κόπτων πέτραν;

Ma parole n'est-elle pas comme un feu, dit l'Éternel, Et comme un marteau qui brise le roc?

^boIs not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and ^bplike a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πρὸς τοὺς προφήτας, λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός, τοὺς κλέπτοντας τοὺς λόγους μου ἕκαστος παρὰ τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ.

C'est pourquoi voici, dit l'Éternel, j'en veux aux prophètes Qui se dérobent mes paroles l'un à l'autre.

^bqTherefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who steal my words from one another.

ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πρὸς τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς ἐκβάλλοντας προφητείας γλώσσης καὶ νυστάζοντας νυσταγμὸν ἑαυτῶν.

Voici, dit l'Éternel, j'en veux aux prophètes Qui prennent leur propre parole et la donnent pour ma parole.

Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the Lord.’

ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πρὸς τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς προφητεύοντας ἐνύπνια ψευδῆ καὶ διηγοῦντο αὐτὰ καὶ ἐπλάνησαν τὸν λαόν μου ἐν τοῖς ψεύδεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς πλάνοις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐγὼ οὐκ ἀπέστειλα αὐτοὺς καὶ οὐκ ἐνετειλάμην αὐτοῖς καὶ ὠφέλειαν οὐκ ὠφελήσουσιν τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον.

Voici, dit l'Éternel, j'en veux à ceux qui prophétisent des songes faux, Qui les racontent, et qui égarent mon peuple Par leurs mensonges et par leur témérité; Je ne les ai point envoyés, je ne leur ai point donné d'ordre, Et ils ne sont d'aucune utilité à ce peuple, dit l'Éternel.

Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and ^brlead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when ^bsI did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord.

καὶ ἐὰν ἐρωτήσωσί σε ὁ λαὸς οὗτος ἢ ἱερεὺς ἢ προφήτης λέγων Τί τὸ λῆμμα κυρίου; καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς Ὑμεῖς ἐστε τὸ λῆμμα, καὶ ῥάξω ὑμᾶς, λέγει κύριος.

Si ce peuple, ou un prophète, ou un sacrificateur te demande: Quelle est la menace de l'Éternel? Tu leur diras quelle est cette menace: Je vous rejetterai, dit l'Éternel.

^bt“When one of this people, or a prophet or a priest asks you, ‘What is the burden of the Lord?’ you shall say to them, ‘You are the burden, ▼

▼Septuagint, Vulgate; Hebrew What burden?

and ^bvI will cast you off, declares the Lord.’

καὶ ὁ προφήτης καὶ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ὁ λαός, οἳ ἂν εἴπωσιν Λῆμμα κυρίου, καὶ ἐκδικήσω τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκεῖνον καὶ τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.

Et le prophète, le sacrificateur, ou celui du peuple Qui dira: Menace de l'Éternel, Je le châtierai, lui et sa maison.

And as for the prophet, priest, or one of the people who says, ‘The burden of the Lord,’ ^bwI will punish that man and his household.

ὅτι οὕτως ἐρεῖτε ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ Τί ἀπεκρίθη κύριος, καὶ Τί ἐλάλησεν κύριος;

Vous direz, chacun à son prochain, chacun à son frère: Qu'a répondu l'Éternel? Qu'a dit l'Éternel?

Thus shall you say, every one to his neighbor and every one to his brother, ‘What has the Lord answered?’ or ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

καὶ λῆμμα κυρίου μὴ ὀνομάζετε ἔτι, ὅτι τὸ Λῆμμα τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἔσται ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ·

Mais vous ne direz plus: Menace de l'Éternel! Car la parole de chacun sera pour lui une menace; Vous tordez les paroles du Dieu vivant, De l'Éternel des armées, notre Dieu.

But ‘the burden of the Lord’ you shall mention no more, for the burden is every man’s own word, and ^bxyou pervert the words of ^bythe living God, the Lord of hosts, our God.

καὶ διὰ τί ἐλάλησεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν;

Tu diras au prophète: Que t'a répondu l'Éternel? Qu'a dit l'Éternel?

Thus you shall say to the prophet, ‘What has the Lord answered you?’ or ‘What has the Lord spoken?’

διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός Ἀνθ ὧν εἴπατε τὸν λόγον τοῦτον Λῆμμα κυρίου, καὶ ἀπέστειλα πρὸς ὑμᾶς λέγων Οὐκ ἐρεῖτε Λῆμμα κυρίου,

Et si vous dites encore: Menace de l'Éternel! Alors ainsi parle l'Éternel: Parce que vous dites ce mot: Menace de l'Éternel! Quoique j'aie envoyé vers vous pour dire: Vous ne direz pas: Menace de l'Éternel!

But if you say, ‘The burden of the Lord,’ thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have said these words, “The burden of the Lord,” when I sent to you, saying, “You shall not say, ‘The burden of the Lord,’”

διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λαμβάνω καὶ ῥάσσω ὑμᾶς καὶ τὴν πόλιν, ἣν ἔδωκα ὑμῖν καὶ τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν,

A cause de cela voici, je vous oublierai, Et je vous rejetterai, vous et la ville Que j'avais donnée à vous et à vos pères, Je vous rejetterai loin de ma face;

therefore, behold, I will surely lift you up and ^bzcast you away from my presence, you and the city that I gave to you and your fathers.

καὶ δώσω ἐφ' ὑμᾶς ὀνειδισμὸν αἰώνιον καὶ ἀτιμίαν αἰώνιον, ἥτις οὐκ ἐπιλησθήσεται.

Je mettrai sur vous un opprobre éternel Et une honte éternelle, Qui ne s'oublieront pas.

^caAnd I will bring upon you everlasting reproach and ^cbperpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’”
