Gal 4:1
What I am saying is that as long as an heir is under age, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.
I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave,

In contexts like this, the Greek word for flesh (sarx) refers to the sinful state of human beings, often presented as a power in opposition to the Spirit; also in verses 16, 17, 19 and 24; and in 6:8.
; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
