Jeremiah 1
Пророческото служение на Йеремия се осъществява в много бурно историческо време: Юдейското царство е в упадък в резултат на две нашествия на войските на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор (597 и 586 г. пр. Хр.) Йерусалим е превзет и голямата част от народа е откарана в плен във Вавилон. Северното Израилско царство е престанало да съществува около 100 г. преди това. Йеремия произхожда от свещенически род, самият той е посветен Божий мъж, открит за заповедите на Бога и способен на дълбоки чувства пред лицето на непослушанието на народа си. Неговият собствен живот е много пъти в смъртна опасност, защото силното и изобличително пророческо слово му спечелва омразата на царете, на аристокрацията и на свещениците, през чието време той пророкува. На Йеремия се паднала тежката участ не само да предскаже на народа приближаващия се Божий съд, но и да види с очите си изпълнението на своите пророчества. В книгата е посочено, че пророчествата му са записвани от Варух, който е изпълнявал ролята на писар и негов секретар (36, 32). Последното събитие, описано в книгата, е падането на Йерусалим и отвеждането в плен на евреите от вавилонския цар. Поставих те за пророк на народите. 6 e Тогава казах: О, Господи Йехова ! Ето, аз не зная да говоря, защото съм дете. 7 f А Господ ми отговори: Не казвай: Дете съм; защото при всички, при които ще те пратя, ще идеш и всичко, което ти заповядвам, ще кажеш. 8 g Да не се боиш от тях, защото Аз съм с тебе, за да те избавям, казва Господ . 9 Тогава Господ протегна ръката Си, допря я до устата ми и ми каза: Ето, вложих думите Си в устата ти. 10 h Виж, днес те поставих над народите и над царствата, за да изкореняваш и да съсипваш, да погубваш и да събаряш, да градиш и да садиш. 11 При това Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза: Какво виждаш, Йеремия? Аз отвърнах: Виждам бадемова пръчка ▼▼ 1:11 Названието на бадема на еврейски означава „бързо (да цъфти) дърво“.

Аз отговорих: Виждам котел, който възвира; и лицето му е от север. 14 k Тогава Господ ми каза: От север ще избухне зловърху всичките жители на тази земя.
15 l Защото, ето, Аз ще повикам
всички колена на северните царства, казва Господ ;
и те ще дойдат и ще поставят всеки престола си
във входа на йерусалимските порти
и срещу всички стени около него,
и срещу всички Юдейски градове.
16 m И ще произнеса присъдите Си против тях
поради цялото им нечестие,
защото Ме оставиха и кадиха на чужди богове,
и се поклониха на делата на своите ръце.
17 n И така, ти опаши кръста си
и стани, и им кажи всичко, което ще ти заповядам;
да не се уплашиш от тях,
да не би Аз да те уплаша пред тях.
18 o Защото, ето, Аз те поставих днес
като укрепен град, железен стълб
и като медни стени против цялата страна,
против царете на Юда, против първенците му,
против свещениците му и против народа на тази страна.
19 p Те ще воюват против тебе,
но няма да те надвият;
защото Аз съм с тебе, за да те избавям, казва Господ .

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
