(ESV)
In the
six hundredth year of
Noah’s life, in the
second month, on the
seventeenth day of the
month, on
that day all the
fountains of the
great deep burst forth, and the
windows of the
heavens were
opened.
(OHB)

(ESV)
So
Abraham rose
early in the
morning,
saddled his
donkey, and
took two of his
young men with him, and his
son Isaac. And he
cut the
wood for the
burnt offering and
arose and
went to the
place of which
God had
told him.
(OHB)

(ESV)
Lift up your
staff, and
stretch out your
hand over the
sea and
divide it, that the
people of
Israel may
go through the
sea on
dry ground.
(OHB)

(ESV)
Then
Moses stretched out his
hand over the
sea, and the
Lord drove the
sea back by a
strong east wind all night and
made the
sea dry land, and the
waters were
divided.
(OHB)
(ESV)
And as soon as he had
finished speaking all these words, the
ground under them split
apart.
(OHB)
(ESV)
they on their part
acted with
cunning and
went and made
ready provisions and
took worn-out sacks for their
donkeys, and
wineskins,
worn-out and
torn and
mended,
(OHB)

(ESV)
These
wineskins were
new when we
filled them, and behold, they have
burst. And these
garments and
sandals of ours are
worn out from the
very long journey.”
(OHB)
(ESV)
And
God split open the
hollow place that is
at Lehi, and
water came out from it. And when he
drank,
his
spirit returned, and he
revived.
Therefore the
name of it was
called En-hakkore; it is at
Lehi to
this day.
(OHB)

(ESV)
The
cart came into the
field of
Joshua of
Beth-shemesh and
stopped there. A
great stone was there. And they
split up the
wood of the
cart and
offered the
cows as a
burnt offering to the
Lord.
(OHB)

(ESV)
Then the
three mighty men broke through the
camp of the
Philistines and
drew water out
of the
well of
Bethlehem that was by the
gate and
carried and
brought it
to David. But
he would not drink of it. He
poured it out to the
Lord
(OHB)

(ESV)
And
all the
people went up after him,
playing on
pipes, and
rejoicing with
great joy, so that the
earth was
split by
their noise.
(OHB)

(ESV)
And he
turned around, and when he
saw them, he
cursed them in the
name of the
Lord. And
two she-bears came out of the
woods and
tore forty-two of the
boys.
(OHB)

(ESV)
When the
king of
Moab saw that the
battle was
going against him, he
took with him
700 swordsmen to
break through, opposite the
king of
Edom, but they
could not.
(OHB)

(ESV)
And
Hazael said, “
Why does my
lord weep?” He
answered, “
Because I
know the
evil that you will
do to the
people of
Israel. You will
set on
fire their
fortresses, and you will
kill their
young men with the
sword and dash in
pieces their
little ones and
rip open their
pregnant women.”
(OHB)

(ESV)
At that
time Menahem sacked Tiphsah and
all who were in it and its
territory from Tirzah on,
because they did
not open it to him. Therefore he
sacked it, and he
ripped open all the women in it who were
pregnant.
(OHB)

(ESV)
Then a breach was
made in the
city, and
all the
men of
war fled by
night by the
way of the
gate between the two
walls, by the
king’s garden, and the
Chaldeans were
around the
city. And they
went in the
direction of the
Arabah.
(OHB)

Then the

(ESV)
And they
came up against
Judah and
invaded it and
carried away all the
possessions they
found that belonged to the
king’s house, and
also his
sons and his
wives, so that
no son was
left to him
except Jehoahaz, his
youngest son.
(OHB)

(ESV)
The
men of
Judah captured another
10,000 alive and
took them to the
top of a
rock and
threw them down from the
top of the
rock, and they were
all dashed to
pieces.
(OHB)

(ESV)
After these
things and these acts of
faithfulness,
Sennacherib king of
Assyria came and
invaded Judah and
encamped against the
fortified cities,
thinking to win them for himself.

And you
divided the

sea on
dry land, and you
cast their

depths,
as a

Thus
says the
Lord:
“For
