      made fat—prospers (Pr 28:25; De 32:15; Lu 6:38).

      watereth . . . watered—a common figure for blessing.

Proverbs 22:9

     9. a bountiful eye—that is, a beneficent disposition.

      for he giveth . . . poor—His acts prove it.

Isaiah 32:8

     8. liberal—rather, "noble-minded."

      stand—shall be approved under the government of the righteous King.
