1Answer me when I call, O God ▼▼Who maintains my right
of my righteousness!You have ▼
▼Lit made room for
relieved me in my distress;Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
2O sons of men, how long will my glory become a reproach?
How long will you love what is worthless and seek falsehood? ▼

Selah.3But know that Yahweh has ▼
▼Or dealt wonderfully with
set apart the holy one for Himself;Yahweh hears when I call to Him.

and do not sin;▼

Ponder in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.5Offer ▼
▼Or righteous sacrifices
the sacrifices of righteousness,And trust in Yahweh.
6Many are saying, “Who will show us good?”
Lift up the light of Your face upon us, O Yahweh!
7You have put gladness in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine abound.
8In peace I will ▼
▼Or at the same time
both lie down and sleep,For You alone, O Yahweh, make me to abide in safety.
