‏ Revelation of John 7

1After this I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, restraining the four winds from blowing on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. 2And I saw another angel ascend from the sunrising, having a seal of the living God; and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to injure the earth and the sea, 3saying, "Do no harm to the earth, or the sea, or the trees, Until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads." 4And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty and four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel. 5Of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed; Of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand; 6Of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand; 7Of the tribe of Symeon, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand; 8Of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand; 9After this I looked, and behold a great multitude, whom no man could number, out of every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands; 10and they cried with a loud voice, saying "Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb!" 11And all the angels stood encircling the throne, and the Elders and the Living Creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne, worshiping God, 12and crying, "Even so! The blessing and the glory and the wisdom And the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the might Be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

13And one of the Elders spoke to me, saying. "Who are these, clad in white robes? Whence come they?" 14And I said to him, "You know, my Lord." And he said to me, "These are those who have come out of the great persecution, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15For this they are now before the throne of God, and are serving him day and night in his temple. "And He who sits on the throne Will spread his tabernacle over them. 16They hunger no more, Neither thirst any more; Neither will the sun strike upon them, Nor any scorching heat; 17For the Lamb in the midst of the throne Will shepherd them, And will lead them to fountains of living water; And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
