“Many times they have ▼▼ Lit showed hostility toward
persecuted me from my youth up;Yet they have hnot prevailed against me.
3“The plowers plowed upon my back;
They lengthened their furrows.”
4The Lord iis righteous;
He has cut in two the jcords of the wicked.
5May all who khate Zion
Be lput to shame and turned backward;
6Let them be like mgrass upon the housetops,
Which withers before it ▼
▼ Lit draws out
grows up;7With which the reaper does not fill his ▼
▼ Lit palm
hand,Or the binder of sheaves his pbosom;
8Nor do those who pass by say,
“The qblessing of the Lord be upon you;
We bless you in the name of the Lord.”
