‏ Psalms 47

God the King of the Earth.

For the choir director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

1 O aclap your hands, all peoples;
bShout to God with the voice of
Or a ringing cry
joy.
2For the Lord Most High is to be dfeared,
A egreat King over all the earth.
3He fsubdues peoples under us
And nations under our feet.
4He chooses our ginheritance for us,
The hglory of Jacob whom He loves.

5God has jascended
Or amid
with a shout,
The Lord,
Or amid
with the msound of a trumpet.
6 nSing praises to God, sing praises;
Sing praises to oour King, sing praises.
7For God is the pKing of all the earth;
Sing praises qwith a

skillful psalm.
8God sreigns over the nations,
God
Or has taken His seat
sits on uHis holy throne.
9The

wprinces of the people have assembled themselves as the xpeople of the God of Abraham,
For the yshields of the earth belong to God;

is aahighly exalted.
