‏ Psalms 68

The God of Sinai and of the Sanctuary.

Or God shall
Let bGod arise,
Or His enemies shall
let His enemies be scattered,
And
Or those who hate Him shall
let those who hate Him flee before Him.
2As esmoke is driven away, so drive them away;
As fwax melts before the fire,
So let the gwicked perish before God.
3But let the hrighteous be glad; let them exult before God;
Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
4Sing to God, ising praises to His name;
Or Cast up a highway
,
kLift up a song for Him who lrides through the deserts,
Whose mname is
Heb Yah
the Lord, and exult before Him.

5A ofather of the fatherless and a pjudge

Is God in His rholy habitation.
6God
Lit makes the solitary to dwell in a house

tmakes a home for the lonely;
He uleads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only vthe rebellious dwell in a parched land.

7O God, when You wwent forth before Your people,
When You xmarched through the wilderness,
Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude

8The zearth quaked;
The aaheavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;

acSinai itself quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9You adshed abroad a plentiful rain, O God;
You confirmed Your inheritance when it was
Lit weary
parched.
10Your creatures settled in it;
You afprovided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.

command;
The ahwomen who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:
12 aiKings of armies flee, they flee,
And she who remains at home will ajdivide the spoil!”

You are like the wings of a dove covered with silver,
And its pinions with glistening gold.
14When the Almighty anscattered the kings

Or mighty mountain is

armountain of God is the mountain of Bashan;
A mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
16Why do you look with envy, O mountains with many peaks,
At the mountain which God has asdesired for His abode?
Surely atthe Lord will dwell there forever.
17The auchariots of God are

myriads, awthousands upon thousands;

The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.
18You have ayascended on high, You have azled captive Your captives;
You have received gifts among men,
Even among the rebellious also, that

the Lord God may dwell there.

19Blessed be the Lord, who daily bbbears our burden,
bcThe God who is our salvation. Selah.
20God is to us a bdGod of deliverances;
And beto

32Sing to God, O cokingdoms of the earth,
cpSing praises to the Lord, Selah.
33To Him who cqrides upon the

cshighest heavens, which are from ancient times;

Lit gives forth
speaks forth with His voice, a cvmighty voice.
34 cwAscribe strength to God;
His majesty is over Israel
And cxHis strength is in the

skies.

Or Awesome is God from your sanctuary
O God, You are daawesome from Your
Lit holy places
sanctuary.
The God of Israel Himself dcgives strength and power to the people.
