The Lord, the Keeper of Israel.

A Song of Ascents.

1 I will ^araise my eyes to ^bthe mountains;
From where will my help come?
2 My ^chelp comes from the Lord,
Who ^dmade heaven and earth.
3 He will not ^eallow your foot to slip;
He who ^fwatches over you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your ^{▼▼Or keeper
,} ^hprotector;
The Lord is your ⁱshade on your right hand.
6 The ^jsun will not ^{▼▼Lit strike you}beat down on you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will ^{▼▼Or keep
,} ^mprotect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
8 The Lord will ^{▼▼Or keep
,} ^oguard your going out and your coming in
