God, the King of the Earth.

For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

1 ^aClap your hands, all you peoples;
^bShout to God with a voice of joy.
2 For the Lord Most High is to be ^cfeared,
A ^dgreat King over all the earth.
3 He ^esubdues peoples under us
And nations under our feet.
4 He chooses our ^finheritance for us,
The ^gpride of Jacob whom He loves. Selah

5 God has ^hascended ^{▼▼Or amid}with a shout,
The Lord, ^{▼▼Or amid}with the ^ksound of a trumpet.
6 ^lSing praises to God, sing praises;
Sing praises to ^mour King, sing praises.
7 For God is the ⁿKing of all the earth;
Sing praises ^owith a psalm of wisdom.
8 God ^preigns over the nations,
God ^{▼▼Or has taken His seat}sits on ^rHis holy throne.
9 The ^{▼▼Or nobles} ^tprinces of the people have assembled as the ^upeople of the God of Abraham,
For the ^vshields of the earth belong to God;
He is ^whighly exalted.
