2 The ^akings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers conspire together
^bAgainst the Lord and against His ^{▼▼Or Messiah
,} ^dAnointed, saying,
3 “Let’s ^etear their shackles apart
And throw their ropes away from us!”

4 He who ^{▼▼Or is enthroned}sits in the heavens ^glaughs,
The Lord ^hscoffs at them.
